Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree: Science
Engineering/Food Science
Experience:
5+ Years Production Management experience in a manufacturing or related field in a consumer product manufacturing environment, preferrably food or beverage.
Maintenance or production management experience. Union experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills; Flexability & Adaptability to an ever-changing environment; Ability to be creative and innovative in finding new solution sets as appropriate.
Process control experience in Packaging, Process or Utilities
Ability to develop high performance teams
Familiarization with OSHA, USDA, FDA, AIB, and EPA requirements.
Excellent Planning and Execution skills
Training and Development skills
Team Leadership, facilitation, collaboration & influencing skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project applications
TPM Experience critical. Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience a plus.
Candidate Must Have : Minimum 5 years of manufacturing related experience, and degree in Engineering or Food Science
TPM, Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing experience
Proven leadership experience as candidate will supervise 4 Exempt and 70 non-exempt production staff
Understanding of all processes in manufacturing (production, maintenance, etc)
Ability to lead change in a fast paced environment
