Lost & Missing cat tips: canvass your neighborhood in a quarter mile radius or more if needed, make fliers, talk to every neighbor and give them a poster with your pets picture, description, sex, weight, age, and a contact email or phone number, etc. Check local animal shelters, Your missing cat is most likely very close by, if injured or scared they can hide for a very long time . Go out when its quiet and call out their name then listen, you might be suprised, look up in trees or under your house if the can get under them, don't give up! Good Luck!
