Beginner's Mind Zen Center offers zazen (zen meditation) daily in a friendly neighborhood zen center near California State University at Northridge. Everybody's welcome to "sit in" -- from absolute beginners to zen practitioners passing through. Zen meditation times are:
Mornings at 6:45am Monday through Friday - and 10:30am Saturday mornings.
Evenings at 8pm Tuesday and Thursday - and 7:30pm Friday evenings.
Meditation is led by Jane and Peter Schneider, Soto Zen priests in Shunryu Suzuki lineage. (Beginner's Mind is affiliated with San Francisco Zen Center.
