Hi, I'm a produced writer/director of several indie films and am seeking a co-writer (or writers) for new projects. If you like Sundance-type movies that deal with relationship and social issues, and can create a regular schedule for working together, I want to hear from you. The goal is to create something that actors and their handlers can really get behind even if the budget is small. Some of my personal favorites include THE STATION AGENT, PIECES OF APRIL, WAITRESS, MONSTER, JUNO, BOYS DON'T CRY, and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. Most of the writing would be done at my home office (I have Final Draft on a G5, two chairs, and two large bulletin boards for notes) and I'd provide the food and drinks.I like to be able to have a first draft within 6 weeks. To be fair, we'd have a contract before writing and figure a fair formula for the script sale.Obviously, this would be contingent upon on actually showing up and working together on a script that is at least 85 pages long.
