SAP ARCHITECT
Responsible for the overall architecture, design and technical oversight/implementation of complex business initiatives (centered around SAP) in customer consulting engagements.Interface with the account team, customer and customer executive management to define requirements, recommend solutions and ultimately implement per cost, scope and schedule. Participate in customer engagement planning and supporting sales efforts.Review and influence existing customer strategic goals.Assist Project Manager in the creation of technical project plans, and assembling Sun teams for customer engagements.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
-Consultative skills.
-Ability to define and articulate customer value propositions for products, technologies and solutions in support of ERP implementations, migrations, etc.
-Knowledge and experience with implementing SAP on Unix/Sun infrastructure with the ability to address performance, scalability, reliability, availability, etc. requirements and expectations.
-Expertise in implementing SAP within a production DC and interfacing with IT best practices and standards.
-Experience and knowledge in Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
-Knowledge of competitive environment and alternative tech solutions/ approaches.
-Experience and knowledge with systems and network management and knowledge with System's integration and implementation.
-Solaris 10 Certification and extensive knowledge in Zones/Containers, Dtrace.
-Experience and knowledge with SunCluster and/or Veritas Cluster.
-Experience with SQL based application development.
-Ability to lead technical teams or work independently, as an integral team member or virtually, as required.
-10 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, 2 full implementation life cycles in SAP Basis.
