Job Title:Warehouse SupervisorWage/Hour Status:$14 / hr
Reports to:Assistant Manager Pay Grad:Admin/Mgmt (Grade 1 )

Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required.Post high school education preferred.
Clear and valid current California Drivers License

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Skill in warehousing and issuing of supplies and materials
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
Interpersonal skills documented by reference or evaluations.
Great time & personnel management skills

Experience:
Five years experience in warehouse operations
Backgrounds in material handling, purchasing, and stock control

Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.

Major Responsibilities and Duties (not limited to):
1.Supervise warehousing and storage of all merchandise, supplies, equipment, and equipment maintenance.
2.Plan and direct the inventory and stock control.Maintain the inventory of supplies and coordinate the replacement and ordering of such.Complete low stock report forms. Work with buyers to maintain inventory.
3.Work closely with the office to carry out warehouse responsibilities and tasks.
4.Develop procedures and recommend estimates for an orderly replacement of existing movable equipment as it becomes obsolete or deteriorates.
5.Evaluate complaints received on equipment and supplies and take appropriate action.
6.Recommend for purchase replacement equipment not included in capital outlay budgets but requiring replacement during the school year.
7.Interview all prospective warehouse employees and make recommendations on persons to be employed there.
8.Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to attain specific goals and measurable results.
9.Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience as needed.Conduct disciplinary action as needed.Recommend dismissal of employees.
10.Supervise processing of all receiving reports on all shipments received through the warehouse.
11.Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety and fire prevention equipment as prescribed by law and school policy.
12.Develop, supervise and maintain a safety program for all workers assigned to the warehouse.
13.Supervise the cleaning of the warehouse including waste disposal of packaging materials.Develop a cleaning schedule.
14.Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Equipment Used:
Forklift, ladders, dollies, scaffolding, pallet jacks, and computers.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing, heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds and over), some stooping, bending and reaching.
