The Step Saver System allows you to easily install vinyl or carpet runner with only a power screw driver and a scissors. Now you can easily protect your stairway's carpet or woodwork.Metal rod systems only attach to the stairs alongside the runner, allowing runner slippage and the eventual bending of the metal rods. The key to the system is the 45° relief, which allows the runner to be pulled tight to the inside corner of the stair, eliminating runner wrinkle, slippage and hold down wobble. The Step Saver is made in the USA of solid oak, pre-cut, pre-drilled, pre-finished, ready to install.
