Every once in a while... I browse the pet section of craigslist, not sure why..But I wam terribly saddened with the human race and how it is so easy to dump animals at shelters, give them away to god knows who...These are mammals, just like us, with pain receptors, feelings...They get depressed like us, they will give us love FOREVER if we let them.Some of the situations in which people get rid of their animals sickens me.Relocating, don't have the "time", planning on a family, etc.If my landlord told me I couldn't have my dog, I would be homeless before I got rid of him.He is my best buddy.When I am sad, he is sad.When I am happy, he is happy.He lives his life for me.For me to go and dump him somewhere would be atrocious.
I see people doing this every time I look in the pet section.
Beautiful, loving animals.Dumped off at shelters, given away to irresponsible owners.
I am really disgusted and deeply saddened by the human race.If you don't have the means for a pet, DON'T GET ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE.It makes people like ME feel guilty as hell and want to pick up your slack, when I KNOW I can't.Which is what you should have known before you got YOUR animal that you want to sell on here.
