FACT:

The media is outright LYING when they say John McCain has won the Republican Party nomination. The other candidates are perpetuating that lie too because they don't want anything disturbing their chances.

FACT:

Ron Paul has a campaign warchest that will get him (us) all the way to the Republican National Convention on September 1-4, 2008;

He enjoys our voices of support networking with each other on the internet and with the plan for us to become delegates to his nomination at the convention.

FACT:

John McCain can only win if he has at least 51% (1191) of BOUND delegates BEFORE the convention. If he does NOT, then it will be what's called a "brokered" convention.

So, where are we now? Let's keep in mind a few things:

FIRST: Is your state a "WINNER-TAKE-ALL" state or a "PROPORTIONAL" state?

MOST states, like Texas, are proportional. This means that because McCain won 50.36% in Texas yesterday, Tuesday, March 4, 2008, he will receive 69 bound delegates out of a total possible 137 bound delegates.

That means that 68 delegates (almost an entire 50%) who are bound to Huckabee or Romney, after fulfilling their "BIND" to these unwinnable respective candidates, will then be free, ON THE 2ND OR 3RD OR LATER ROUNDS, to vote for Ron Paul, the ONLY other Republican option!

By contrast, my home state of Florida is a "winner-take-all" state. This means that because McCain won in THIS particular state, ALL of our delegates are "BOUND" to him, but also ONLY in the first round at the convention.

Ron Paul is the ONLY other choice now that all the others dropped out as a result of having NO MONEY! Incidentally, this is the reason why I am STILL attempting to become a delegate in Florida.

Why would there be a 2nd or 3rd round? Because we don't think McCain will have the required 51% of BOUND delegates needed to win outright.

SECOND: The updated status for March 5, 2008.

After last night,

with Texas's 69 BOUND (proportional)

and Rhode Island's 13 BOUND (proportional)

and Vermont's 17 BOUND (winner-takes-all) added,

McCain has a total of 990 BOUND delegates.

That means he still needs 201 BOUND delegates of the total minimum 1191 to correctly state that we in the Ron Paul movement have no chance.

Political strategy considerations:

CONJECTURE: I think Huckabee was told to step down. If he didn't, he would continue siphoning votes away from McCain and make our strategy for Ron Paul that much simpler.

CONJECTURE: In the event we succeed in this step, Mitt Romney, who only SUSPENDED--not ENDED--his campaign, may jump back into the race to run interference as the candidate who will tout his private sector "experience" to uneducated voters who STILL haven't heard of Ron Paul's educated effort.

That's it.
