PAY RANGE - $38,972 - $56,659
(10% raise after completing training program and additional 5% raise after completing one year probation)

Police Dispatching is a rewarding career that requires the ability to multi-task; work in fast paced environment; handle emergency and non-emergency phone calls from citizens; and dispatch Police Officers. Tempe Dispatchers answered over 470,000 phone calls in 2006. Dispatchers are required to work shift work, holidays and weekends.
