Brief Posting Description
The Business Systems Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, launch, and support efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
oMeet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues
oLead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
oReview and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
oDevelop recommendations to address existing and potential issues in systems in the organization
oCollaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
oPerform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
oPerform integration and system testing
oProvide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
Requirements
oBachelors Degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, or MIS
oWorking knowledge or understanding of Java and/or SQL languages preferred
oWorking knowledge of network infrastructure, PC and server operating systems, and current hardware and software standards
o4+ years related work experience overseeing the design, development, implementation, and support of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
oDemonstrated project management skills
oExperience in the incentive industry preferred
oAbility to prioritize and execute a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
oAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
oStrong customer service orientation
oUp to 25% travel, including some international travel
oMust be creative, flexible and driven to achieve results
