Position Profile
Controls inventories and customer service levels through detailed analysis of inventory levels, aging and corporate turn objectives for parts and supplies. Provides field level support for maintaining inventory integrity levels and customer requirements. Job Duties and Responsibilities Routinely demonstrates and creates a helpful and positive work culture. Encourages and builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with all coworkers, Field Service personnel. Conducts themselves at all times in accordance with code of ethics. Performs activities within new projects and supports the transition of new processes into operations to insure satisfactory outcomes. Analyzes inventory levels, excess inventory and first pass fill rate of car stock inventories making recommendations for adjustments, corrections or other actions required to achieve service level and inventory goals. Provides cost to service tradeoff analysis for transportation and other expense categories to reduce operation overhead. Manages excess inventories and monitors the process for redistribution to the correct location. Designs and/or generates and distributes reports for decision support. Manages/Controls tech inventory Authorized Stock List, filters, overrides, etc to insure optimum rations between inventory value and service level requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications) Four-year college degree is preferred. APICS certification is a plus. Minimum 3 years experience as an analyst, with a background in forecasting, inventory analysis or demand planning, is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong math and analytical abilities are required. Proficiency in Oracle Discoverer is a plus.
Two positions are available corresponding to the following shifts:
1) 8am-5pm
2) 10am-8pm
