As Director of Catering and Conference Services you will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for complete oversight of the busy catering department. This will include the development of new business through inside sales calls and solicitation of outside business and initiation and and development of quality leads to ensure growth of catering sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for assuring the highest level of customer service in order to strive for flawless organization and execution of events.
Job Requirements: Our ideal candidate for Director of Catering and Conference Sercices will have a minimum of 3 years catering sales management experience in a Miami area hotel- seasoned Sr/Catering Sales Managers welcome to apply. This position requires strong selling and interpersonal skills, high level of creativity, excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of food and current food and decor trends. In addition, must be proficient in Microsoft applications to include Word and Excel, have excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Must also have experience working with catering software.
