If you have the means to help us, please consider it. I realize that almost everyone in this world is skeptical…even me. I am by no means trying to scam anyone, just trying to stay afloat. If you request it, I will give you all the information to prove our situation…and should you decide to help you can put any money in the property management's business name, not mine. My heart is so heavy, and if you know what it feels like to be a parent you know what I’m talking about. I am on my last bit of hope.
I am a single mother of two beautiful girls. I have raised them and taken care of them on my own for the last 2 years. At times it’s a struggle, but we’ve always made it through. I was laid off a couple of months ago and since then it’s been a fight every day for me. Trying to find another job, selling our things to keep up, going to welfare (and being turned down), temporary aid centers, churches, and asking for help. I have found a job and start on March 13th. But that doesn’t help with what I owe. It’s humiliating to have to bear my soul to strangers but I know I have to at least try every avenue...we live in a 2 bedroom apt. and pay $1300 a month. I have barely scraped by the last 2 months and this month I only have $200 to give them. It was due on the 1st of March. I’ve tried talking to the manager of the property management who says there is nothing she can do to stop the process. On the 5th they tacked on a $75 late fee and then I received a letter saying that if they don't receive the rent in full by Tuesday they will post a 3 day pay or quit notice and an extra $100 fee.
