SUPERVISOR, SR. PRODUCTION
Second and Third Shifts
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Oversee manufacturing operations and supervise personnel in compliance to all applicable company, regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Supervise production processes of approximately 30 or more employees.
2. Communicate/ensure departmental goals and objectives.
3. Accountable for product quality and production schedules.
4. Ensure quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met.
5. Promote employee safety awareness and ensure safety/environmental compliance.
6. Evaluate employee performance, conduct performance appraisals, and provide continuous feedback to employees.
7. Recommend operator promotions & transfers, verify and approve attendance reports, and carry out disciplinary actions.
8. Train employees.
9. Accountable for area/department budget performance.
10. Instruct and coach to create a self-directed team environment.
11. Execute lean manufacturing principles.
