DISTRIBUTOR RELATIONS REP II Experience Level: Mid Level Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Travel: 40% Incumbent will be responsible for achieving sales goals through a coordinated effort with assigned Siemens distributors. Management of all aspects of Siemens distribution business within the territory is a key responsibility. The job includes product demonstrations, training and installations, along with the successful launch of new products and promotions through distribution. The incumbent must be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, physician office labs and distributor branches. Develops and maintains the image of Siemens as a diagnostics leader in the Distributor business. Establishes and maintains close relationships with physician office labs, group practices and opportunistic hospital accounts. Keeps Area Manager abreast of sales activities, market opportunities and technical developments to ensure that appropriate actions can be taken. This position will face the challenge of implementing a sales and marketing plan for a group of products directed at the Distributor market exclusively. Also, in the event that any new products are developed or acquired, this position will have the responsibility of integrating and selling these new products. Specific Skills Required Successful sales experience, and experience selling capital equipment or selling to regional/national accounts. The incumbent must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Significant experience or proven ability to negotiate with, and sell to, top corporate and senior decision makers within an Integrated Delivery Network is required. Familiarity with dealer organizations and physician’s office marketplace is a plus Familiarity with Siemens products as well as competitive urine products is beneficial Personnel characteristics needed for success in this position within the distributor sales hierarchy include: strong motivation; negotiation and persuasion skills; independent thinking and good judgment; enthusiasm; and goal orientation. MOLECULAR SALES SPECIALIST II Experience Level: Mid Level Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Travel: 40% Assist in the development and implementation of strategic and tactical business plans for the Molecular business. Support efforts to secure, implement and expand long term agreements with the molecular customers by calling on Laboratories and physician offices. Position represents all Siemens Molecular products that could be utilized by the customer. Siemens Molecular Diagnostics has a significant opportunity to establish a leadership position in this high growth market. The candidate will be calling on Public Health Labs, University Hospitals, and medium to large hospitals. Typical Education: Bachelor's Degree Education Discipline(s): Business or Science Typical Job-Related Experience: 3 - 6 yrs. Specific Skills Required: Strong sales, self motivation, project management and personal skills. A strong professional and executive image, well developed interpersonal communications and presentation skills. Proven ability to develop and achieve accurate budget, forecasts and manage operating expenses. Exceptional leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and throughout the organization. Diagnostic Sales experience a plus.
