Key responsibilities:
* Generate targeted sales
* Provide superior customer service
* Hire, train, manage & schedule staff
* Merchandise & display products
* Manage all store operational functions, including loss prevention activities & inventory
Required skills:
* Must have prior experience managing a retail store dealing with consumer products
* Strong preference for previous experience managing a mall-based retail store
* Excellent communication skills
* Outgoing, people-oriented personality
* Strong management skills
* High school diploma required; some college preferred
* Integrity, dependability & commitment to success & achieving sales goals
Note:
* This is an entrepreneurial, locally owned and operated retail chain with 6 stores
* Knowledge of board games, chess, puzzles and brainteasers is a plus. Passion for board games and willingness to learn them & demonstrate them to customers is a must.
