Here are a few "Values", that Mormons believe that Mitt believes and is a true follower of his faith. These so-called "values" are very good reasons NOT to have a Mormon as President.
You would be hard pressed to find any truly Christian sects that believe ridiculous things like Jesus Christ showed up in the Americas following his supposed resurrection (Book of Mormon), or that there was a lost tribe of Israel waiting for him there that was later wiped out by the current Native Americans (who were then cursed with red skin for their actions by Elohim, the Mormon ‘God’), or that Jesus was born in Jerusalem as opposed to Bethlehem (source), or that Jesus was a polygamist like the infamously racist Mormon leader Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses, Volume 4, page 259), or that black people were cursed with their dark skin because they were not brave enough for Elohim and they should be barred from the priesthood (until 1978, anyway; source), or that God was once a mortal man who reached perfection & godhood (source) through his righteous Mormon actions and you can do the same through Mormonism because there are many gods (Journal of Discourses), or that Jesus is the “spirit brother” of Lucifer (source), or that you must accept Joseph Smith as a prophet of God to attain salvation (Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1, p. 188), or that Jesus will one day return in the city of Missouri rather than Jerusalem (source). Only Mormons (through their written authorities) believe these things, as all of these claims come from one of their three clearly non-Biblical sources. And they believe such absurdities entirely without any reasonable evidence, much like every Christian believes their own religious absurdities.
