If the police were out there being heroes by finding and arresting the violent criminals, I would agree with your statement. The reality, unfortunately, is far different. Law enforcement is out there to entrap, violate the Constitution, and otherwise ruin the lives of mostly decent, peaceful people. Most of police arrests are the result of victimless "crimes".
