That is really disturbing news. I'll support parents that take the time, interest, effort and responsibility to homeschool their children. Our schools are terrible and getting worse. I refuse to support, vote for, or dump any more money to our failing school system. Prop 187 was passed by the majority of the voters. Our politicians killed it. It killed our educational system. Of course, you realize the main reason they want to do this is so the schools will get more state money by your children sitting in the schools getting a third-rate education. Also they want to indoctrinate them with all the PC stupidity. This will be fought in the courts. Our governor said he would fight this too. Actually, you're wrong about Prop. 187.It wasn't our politicians who killed it, although the majority of them would have loved to have killed it. It was a Clinton-appointed federal judge who killed it. That's right. A single judge, who was not even from the state of California and not even elected, tossed it out. I point out this example above every other that the U.S. has very little similarity to a real democracy, and we there is no representation for the will of the people despite excessive taxation. Prop. 187 was passed by nearly a 2 to 1 ratio, but a lone, rogue, non-Californian, appointed judge declared it unconstitutional, despite the fact that in so doing he was hypocritically being unconstitutional himself. Gov. Davis had the right to appeal this decision, but he chose not to do so before the statute of limitations ran out for appeal. You are correct, however, in your assertion that the Democrat move to eradicate home schooling is aimed solely at being able to control ALL of our children with their leftist, politically correct, brainwashing ideology.
