QUALITY ENGINEER

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer.
This position will develop and maintain internal Quality System manuals and procedures, compile and analyze customer and regulatory requirements to assess the effects on the internal Quality System and coordinate and support customer and agency audits. In addition, this position will identify, champion and coordinate closure for internal corrective and preventive actions and develop and deliver Quality System Awareness training for all company employees.
Qualified candidates will have 2 - 4 years quality, manufacturing or procurement engineering experience, including experience driving continuous performance improvement. In addition, qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, advanced degree preferred, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong working knowledge of quality improvement tools (i.e. SPC, Process capability, DOE, Gage R&R) and working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
