Position Description:
The QA Tester will conduct testing of the Flektor application within a browser-based environment. Prior experience testing web-based applications or video games is required. Testing experience with Flash-based applications a plus.
Responsibilities include:
• Testing builds of the Flektor application
• Submitting, tracking and resolving bug reports via database, such as TestTrackPro, FogBugz, etc
• Reporting directly to developers on current state of the product
• Providing input on features, user interface design, and usability
Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari
• Knowledge and familiarity with Video and Photo editing tools such as iPhoto, iMovie, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut a major plus
• Experience using social networks like MySpace, Facebook, Xanga and Beebo
• Strong understanding of the QA process
• Strong understanding of web-based and Flash-based applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in QA
• High School diploma
• College graduate or enrolled student a plus
