Responsible for all aspects of project engineering and management for modular chloralkali equipment. Further, responsibilities extend to before sales and after sales customer support, as well as, product and application development support. -Prepare equipment cost estimates and engineering estimates in support of commercial proposals. -Prepare technical proposals and supporting documentation. -Participate in technical and commercial clarifications -Review & understand client specifications to fully understand obligations and scope of supply, taking exception where appropriate. -Responsible for overall management of the individual project : including cost control, engineering, quality, execution, schedule, planning, communications, documentation, technical specifications and requirements. -Responsible for specification and procurement of equipment (data sheets for filter, instrumentation, vessels, heater, valves) -Coordinate with Process Engineer for Process Flow Diagram and process control document creation -Obtain technical guidance, engineering services and advice from Engineering Department and other experts as needed. -Responsible for the elaboration of the P&ID and system lay-out -Responsible for coordinating or conducting configuration of system PLC’s. -Responsible for coordinating or conducting system testing/check-out. -Responsible for coordinating or preparing electrical & instrumentation diagrams. -Part of the installation/start-up supervision team -Part of after-sales support to customers -Support internal staff in technical and application development. -Provide technical guidance to support R & D, New Applications Department, or others in the Systems Group. -Provide after sales customer support to third party equipment sale clients, technical, operations and marketing staffs. Requirements: -Strong chemical engineering and/or process engineering knowledge. -Experience in project engineering and management required. -Ability to read/mark-up and develop P&ID’s and perform basic process calculations. -Ability to understand and interpret applicable specifications and standards. -Knowledge of ASME code desirable. -Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical and PLC’s desirable. -Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary. -Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and effectively work within a project execution team. -Ability to coordinate with other groups within the company, external customers, and suppliers. Educational requirements : -B.S. in chemical or mechanical engineering.
