Requirements


•High-school education, required.Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Human Resources, preferred.
•5-7 years of experience, required.At least three years working in a large corporate payroll department with multi-site processing, required.
•Four years (or more) work experience with Lawson 7.2 or higher or similar systems experience, required.
•Kronos I-series (AS-400) experience, preferred.
•Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects related to resolving priority user issues.
•Exp. with presenting and training technical subject matter to field users:classroom and web base demonstration experience, preferred.
•Ability to generate Crystal Reports and MS Access Reports, a plus.
•Advanced PC skills.Must be able to use / navigate case management tools and systems as well as technology-based applications to identify and troubleshoot field user issues with on-line tools. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 2000 (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook), MS Project 2000.
•Able to utilize time management skills to successfully meet deadlines.
•Strong analytical skills in the area of systems analysis and project management

Responsibilities


•Responsible for weekly payroll processing for all field operations/operating companies.Includes exception reporting, addressing exceptions and payroll balancing and validations.Support area payroll processors with gross to net processing and production pay calculations.
•Reconciling weekly funding to Ceridian, incl. checks, direct deposits, taxes and garnishments.Provide funding entry to finance depart.
•Set up new tax codes in BSI (software) and Lawson.Manage unemployment rate files.Post tax corrections and adjustments.
•Work with Corporate payroll manager to handle and respond to all agency and tax authority information and requests.Including IRS, State, and local tax agencies and authorities.Work directly with outsource provider to assure timely and compliance-based solutions.
•Manage company wage garnishments.
