Job Description:
This position will manage the daily aspects of our Machining Shop, Steel Metal Fabrication, Product Assembly and Purchasing Departments.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support staff of approximately 8 – 10 employees within the Machine Shop, Fabrication, Product Assembly and Purchasing Departments on a daily basis.
Daily and weekly forecasting and scheduling of production.
Direct interaction with and reporting to the General Manager on a daily and weekly basis.
Some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of successful management experience in manufacturing production.
Familiar with machining and fabrication methods and procedures.
Knowledge of purchasing procedures.
Experience with forecasting and scheduling.
Computer literacy required with intermediate experience in MS Office Word and Excel.
Experience with MS Project desirable.
Willing and able to learn new skills and flexibility in adapting to changes.
