Live Oak Interactive, founded in 2002 and based in Austin, TX, is looking to add several new PHP/Ruby Gurus to its highly talented, and always entertaining, staff of über geeks. We're gonna keep this brief because if you're "the one" you already know it.

Pleasing skills, in order of importance:

- Zero-ego, group huddle, family-like attitude
- Sense of humor
- Communicate well with customers
- "Customer First" passion
- PHP/Ruby is your native language, or second, third, or fourth
- Object Oriented is the way you roll
- ROR is not instant message slang
- MySQL in your sleep
- Believe that CSS is a beautiful thing
- JavaScript validates your existence
- Linux server/admin skills

Get the idea? This kind of opportunity doesn't happen often. Freelancers welcome to apply, but we're looking for someone for the long haul. We'd prefer you work in our Austin office, however we are open to telecommuting for the right candidate. We hire for life, so only apply if you're committed to a life of writing cool code, like to work hard but have a good time doing it, love the idea of working at a small company with a stable salary, good benefits, and believe that you can make a difference to others doing what you love most.

Please email your resume to jobs-dev@liveoakinteractive.com. No calls, faxes, walk-ins, etc. Your chances of a response improve dramatically if you include examples of your work and years of experience. Applicants must reside in the US. Please, no recruiters.
