POSITION DESCRIPTION
Xtrategies has an immediate opening for an experienced Information Security professional with knowledge of the Payments/Cards industry to join our Risk Management practice.The Associate will lead and/or conduct audits of Xtrategies’ client organizations in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).S/he will visit and work with Issuing and Acquiring Banks, Card Processors, and large Merchant organizations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean to assess their implementations of compliance standards, identify potential vulnerabilities and threats, and generate recommended courses of action to mitigate Information Security gaps.
The Associate will review our clients’ Information Security policies, assess their capabilities, and prioritize risks associated with network security, cardholder data protection, system vulnerability, and information access.In addition to performing these periodic reviews, s/he will develop and execute plans to identify program susceptibilities, communicate findings to all relevant stakeholders, and promptly and effectively resolve technical, procedural, and organizational shortcomings.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years experience in information security and systems audit/analysis roles.This position requires an individual who is naturally inquisitive and highly analytical.Additional qualifications are:
>> Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or relevant field preferred
>> CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification
>> Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
>> Bilingual – exceptional oral and written communication/presentations skills in both English and Spanish
>> Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
>> Prior Payment Card Industry (PCI) experience a considerable advantage
>> Prior internal/external audit or consulting experience
>> Ability to undertake up to 75% international travel
>> Prior international experience preferred
>> Prior credit card industry or banking experience preferred
