High-caliber Miami (Brickell) office of national labor and employment law firm seeks licensed attorney for part-time legal work.Associate will assist in litigating labor and employment law disputes on the management side before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.Assigned work will include drafting pleadings, motions, responses, briefs, and court memoranda; preparing and responding to written discovery requests; document review and production; assisting in deposition, witness, and trial preparation; miscellaneous legal research assignments; and other duties as assigned.
Successful candidate must have a valid Florida Bar license, must have excellent legal research and writing skills, and must be detail-oriented.Spanish fluency is a plus, but it is not required.Some litigation experience required -- employment litigation experience is preferred.
Hours will be part time, typically 10 to 30 hours per week, but will fluctuate with workflow.Remote work arrangements are available under appropriate circumstances.
Associate will be paid a competitive hourly wage.
