We are currently recruiting for an amazing opportunity with a large community hospital in Tampa for experienced Emergency Room nurses.This 40 bed unit sees approximately 90,000 patients per year with a variety of complaints.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar volume ER and be comfortable with a variety of different patients.The typical ratio is 4 patients per nurse, but may differ according to the staffing but will not be more than 5 to 1.Bachelor’s prepared nurses are preferred, but Associate’s Degree nurses will always be considered.Current Florida RN licensure is preferred, but the hospital will wait for the right candidate to become licensed in the state.
The hospital provides excellent compensation plans, full benefits and competitive shift differentials.They currently offer an incentive pay plan for shifts worked beyond the schedule.This means an additional $15-18 per hour for extra shifts worked.
