Job Description
Manage complete materials cycle from purchasing through raw materials and production to finished goods inventory.Direct supervision of four staff members to control inventories of manufactured and distributed products, plan and issue work orders, and track status of critical sales orders.Maintain materials data base, perform cycle count and physical inventory, maintain demand forecasts.
Skills and Experience Required
•Degree in business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience in all phases of materials management with strong MRP skills.Expertise in MAS-90 preferred, ability to write custom reports a strong plus.
•Good listener with strong written and verbal communication skills
•Adept and creative problem-solver
•Good negotiating skills
•Enjoys taking the initiative, not afraid to exercise good judgment
•Experience with a company in a regulated industry is a plus
•Strong Word and Excel skills
