The position is a hybrid of a Pre-Sales Support, Junior Sales and Marketing individual whose charge is to support the sales staff in their commercial efforts, develop new business relationships, maintain and develop existing client relationships and contribute to the marketing objectives on both an operational and strategic level.The role requires strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of audiences.This includes engaging clients, delivering presentations and demos, answering technical questions and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal). The prospective candidate will have a great deal of client involvement,networking within clients to locate decision makers and communicating client information to relevant parties internally are all key aspects of the role. Responsibilities Identify and qualify new business opportunities, sales leads and prospects Locate stakeholders and key decision makers Arrange and host meetings / demos and prepare necessary presentations and documentation Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and prospects Leverage existing relationships and develop accounts through strategic networking Gather client information and disseminate internally to the appropriate teams / individuals with a view to improving client delivery and exceeding expectations Work closely with Client Services, Technology and Senior Management to ensure marketing strategy is in line with business objectives and knowledge is shared effectively Maintain contacts, events and marketing database Maintain progress and call reports to track client development Work closely with Client Services to ensure a smooth on-boarding process for each new client Skills and Experience 2-4+ years working in a client-facing relationship management/business development/marketing communications role Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or other related field Financial services experience a must. Experience with buy-side investment managers, strong product knowledge and understanding of investment process will give the right candidate a strong advantage Strong knowledge of the financial industry, including different asset classes, data types, trading and operational processes Previous client facing experience including training or delivering presentations Experience working trade shows Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Experience writing research papers and marketing collateral Excellent sense of urgency and self-motivation Must have a natural style of presenting ideas and solutions to a range of audiences, complete with strong powers of influence and persuasion Can work effectively as part of one or more teams, relating to individuals and groups in a positive, effective and enthusiastic manner To apply, please go to http://marketing.nwtechnologies.org to fill out our online application.
