Responsibilities
Utilize object oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test software systems.
Design/build frameworks to be used by other developers on team.
Design, code, test and document software.
Provide technical guidance to other team members.
Interface with users.
Work with users to research and evaluate problems and system/operation issues.
Research/evaluate new software and tools.
Requirements
Strong understanding of server side software, scalability, performance and reliability issues
Experience with web-based applications
Experience with javascript, HTML, XML, AJAX, Hibernate, Spring
Solid knowledge of Java
Solid knowledge of OO, MVC principles, and design patterns
Comfortable with fast development cycles
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Experience with Tapestry a plus
Consumer Internet and startup experience desirable
