Currently we have an opening for a Java (J2EE) Software Engineer at our Orlando, FL site.This position will be integral to the design and development of a large information system which will enable the British Army to manage their wheeled and tracked vehicles.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
•Defining software requirements
•Designing, developing, testing, integrating and deploying software components
At least one year of experience with the following is required:
•Java/J2EE
•JBOS
•JSP
•STRUTS
•JDBC
•Eclipse IDE – testing and debugging
•Understanding of or experience with, Oracle database
•Agile and Scrum development is a plus
In addition, you must be adaptable and able to work well in a team environment and you must have outstanding skills in the areas of leadership, oral and written communication, and organization.Also, In compliance with Department of Defense and Department of State standards related to this work, you must be a green card holder or a U.S. Citizen in order to start work and qualify to apply for a security clearance.
