Hotel Maintenance position.
Position Summary:
•You would be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair activities throughout the property.
•You will also help us deliver outstanding service and hospitality to our hotel guest and ensure a well maintained building and property, including functional equipments.
•Offer guest assistance. When a guest asks for assistance, the maintenance engineer either provides the assistance immediately or immediately contacts someone who can, and follows up to ensure the guest's need is met.
•Performs repairs listed on work orders and maintains the work orders as a record of work completed. Tracks and records repairs. Makes repairs in a timely and professional manner.
•Performs preventative maintenance and other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
•Performs other tasks as needed (including lifting and storing items, cleaning units, etc.)
Job requirements:
•Self motivated
•Detail orientated
•Must have Min. of 3 years prior knowledge of hotel or condominium maintenance which includes, but not limits to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, painting and other daily repairs and installation skills.
•Must be a team player.
•Able to work independently
•Ability to communicate with co-workers, and guest in a kind and courteous manner.
•Able to lift or carry if needed 40 lbs.
•Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Education requirements: Minimum, High School Diploma or equivalent
