Are you ready to take charge of your career? At AMC Entertainment Inc., the preferred choice for more than 230 million moviegoers annually, we currently need general managers in training. We’re one of the largest entertainment companies in the world with associates passionate about guest satisfaction and achieving results. Many of these associates honed their guest-service skills in our EXCELerated Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Don’t let the acronym scare you! We’re a fun company that believes in training. The ELDP equips you with 6 to 18 months of hands-on learning designed to launch you into leadership as a general manager in training at one of our more than 300 theatres in the United States. That’s a lot of theatres with many associates to lead. Up for the challenge? Answer these questions: Are you a team player with the proven ability to lead others? Have three to five years of retail or hospitality management experience? Are you looking for career advancement? Most importantly, can you motivate others to passionately deliver the ultimate guest experience? If you shouted “yes” to these questions, we might just roll out the red carpet for you! As a general manager in training at an AMC theatre, you’ll use the skills you develop in our ELDP to: - Lead, guide and motivate associates
- Inspire associates to deliver results through planning and execution
- Coach associates to bring a superior entertainment experience to our guests everyday
- Encourage associates to maximize their personal growth and development
- Manage theatre budgets and analyze financial reports
- Uphold AMC’s high standards and deliver entertaining company-wide programs
At AMC, we live in a team-based culture where a take-charge approach exists at all levels. As the ELDP demonstrates, we offer continuous training and development programs, a highly competitive compensation plan with performance-driven bonuses and excellent benefits. Ready to get started? Thought so. Just make sure you meet these requirements: •Three to five years experience motivating a team to deliver the best customer service, preferably in the retail or hospitality industries •Proven talent for developing future leaders •Will commit to relocation upon completion of the program •Experience managing a facility with more than $1 million dollars in annual revenue •Persuasive written and oral communication skills along with strong analytical skills •Can effectively and professionally communicate with guests, supervisors, peers, subordinates, home-office associates, vendors or partners •A college degree or commensurate work experience As if training to start a career in the entertainment world wasn’t enough, you’re entitled to many benefits as an AMC associate including FREE movie passes, health and 401(k) plans, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, an employee assistance program and flexible spending accounts. If career advancement, training, benefits and having fun matter to you, send us your resume! And don’t forget to include your salary requirements.
