The group will initially run for six sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm.

Bennett Williamson received his doctorate (Ph.D.) from UCLA in 1996. Previously he aquired 2 Bachelor of Arts degrees (B.A.s) from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in Philosophy and Spanish. Dr. Williamson has pre- and postdoctoral specialized training and experience in many areas including trauma, anxiety, grief, addiction, depression, relationship problems, psychological testing and neuropsychology. Dr. Williamson has been an affiliate staff member at nine different medical facilities in the greater Los Angeles area. He served as the Director of Clinical Supervision at Allcare Mission Health Center in Hollywood, a non-profit facility serving lower income clients, from 2001 to 2004. Dr. Williamson has been a psychotherapist since 1993 and been an independently licensed clinical psychologist in California since March, 1999. He provides individual, group, and couples therapy, as well as conducting forensic evaluations in English and Spanish, and offering expert testimony.
Justin Shubert received his B.S. from Cornell University in 2002 and his M.A. from California School of Professional Psychology in 2007. He is currently working towards his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). Justin worked as a Mental Health Intern at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center where he saw clients individually and co-facilitated a group on Sex & Intimacy. Justin is currently working as a Psychology Intern at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena where he also provides individual and group therapy. In addition to providing therapy, Justin serves as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor at Pacific Treatment Centers in Hollywood.
