Rosemary Children's Services opened its doors in 1920 to adolescent girls. Since then the agency has grown to provide "at-risk" youths with therapeutic & compassionate services through our Residential, Non Public School, Day Rehabilitation & Foster Family Programs.
Rosemary Children’s Services Foster Family Agency has an immediate opening for a Full Time Foster Care Social Worker/Adoption Worker in our Riverside office.Job responsibilities include carrying a caseload of 12-15 children and is required to work with biological and resource families, provide case management, assist with certification of resource families, maintain proper documentation and initial quarterly and termination reports for assigned caseload.In addition, the desirable applicant will complete Home Studies and have assigned cases from adoption placement to finalization. *Must be able to drive on the job.
EDUCATION:
A Masters degree in Social Work is required. A Masters degree in a related field: Social Welfare, Marriage & Family Therapy, Child Psychology, Child Development, Counseling Psychology, Social Psychologyis acceptable if applicant has experience in Adoptions and a state approved exception. Bilingual preferred: Spanish/English
Must have strong organization, time mangement, communication, writing & computer skills.
