Our client is looking to fill a senior accountant position. This position's function is to properly account for and analyze SG&A expenses for all the company centers.This is accomplished by utilizing information obtained from various sources, including the operating groups,the general ledger, and external third parties. This position is also responsible for reconciling allrelated bank accounts and balance sheet accounts for corporate prepaid assets and corporate accrued liabilities.The responsibilities include accounting and recording of corporate prepaid assets as well as the corresponding amortization expense in the general ledger in a timely manner and accurately analyzing and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for related cash accounts as well as other balance sheet accounts.These balance sheet accounts include the following:credit card accounts receivable, accrued audit fees, accrued taxes, accruedmatch fees, accrued credit card commissions, and prepaid management fees, and prepaid rent, prepaid workers comp, deposits. This position is responsible for the proper accounting of manual intercompany transactions between domestic and foreign offices.In addition, the position is assigned various special projects and assists management with high level analyses and presentations.
