We're looking for an electrical engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit.

We are a group of professionals from various fields who have come up with an idea for a ground breaking product.Between us we have a broad range of skills but we are missing electrical engineer skills needed to create a prototype.
We have product management, marketing, sales, business development, procurement, IT, and manufacturing covered.We are looking for an engineer to complete our skill set.
I am confident we can raise angel financing once we have a working prototype.We need the engineer to create the prototype.
We are all professionals who have full time jobs in each of our own areas.We're tired of giving all our time to someone else.We want out of the corporate rat race.We want to create our own profitable business and be in charge of our own destiny.Are you ready to join us?
We look at this as a low risk opportunity.Everyone gets to keep their current jobs until this thing really takes off.Minimal downside, huge potential upside :)
But that said, we are looking for someone who can provide a level of upfront committment.I'm looking for someone who can commit at least 10 hours per week to the project.
Here's part of what we're looking for in an engineer:
- must be a self-starter (we can give you guidance on what we want, but you will have to figure out what is practical) - be tenacious and a problem solver (if design version 1 doesn't work, then we need someone who will go back to the drawing board and work on version 2) - be able to read and produce electrical circuit diagrams (once we have a working prototype, we need to send detailed specifications to offshore manufacturer)
The successful candidate must be able to travel to El Segundo once per month for status meetings with the rest of the team.Also you should have access to a webcam (preferably Apple iChat).
Unfortunately there is no upfront payment for your time.For the time being, we're all working pro bono.Although the cost of raw materials will be covered.But an equity stake in the company will be available once we have a working prototype that we can take to the next level.
Candidates identified for face-to-face interviews will be required to sign a standard non-disclosure agreement.
