Performs administrative support duties for the staff to ensure direct services to students with disabilities occur in a timely manner. Responsible for ordering textbooks in alternate formats, obtaining adaptive equipment and coordinating software installations ensuring the College provides accessibility according to the ADA and Section 504. Additional duties include typing, filing, faxing, enlarging documents and textbooks and providing some direct service to students with disabilities such as reading tests. Skills: Associates degree plus two years of job-related experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered. Valid drivers license and insurance eligible to drive College vehicles required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and various office equipment required. Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Hours are part time 20 hours per week and may vary during peak times. Ability to travel between campuses and centers required. Work sample required as part of the interview process.
