Tech USA is actively seeking a qualified candidate for our client in the Fort Lauderdale area who demonstrates experience in participating heavily in pre-construction design build services. Establish and coordinate plan review procedures, process and monitor design recommendations and changes. Implement a formal design management and monitoring system. Oversee project design progress and determine appropriate status reporting methods.
Essential Functions
- Will work with multiple teams to pursue, manage, and deliver
design-build projects covering a wide variety of areas, including
but not limited to large commercial construction projects in
hospitality, transportation, corrections, education, public
assembly, civil (roadway).
- Experience managing designers and design teams.
- Experience in negotiating design contracts with owners and
construction managers.
- Government and Institutional project experience. (i.e GSA, ACOE,
NAVFAC)
- Work on large fast tracked design build private and government
projects.
- Experience in ProForma development and financial feasibility a
plus
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in similar capacity
- License/Registration: Engineering or Architecture
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Architecture, Building
Construction or related field
