We are an after-school academy located in Torrance, CA.
We are currently looking for debate instructors who can teach during weekday afternoons (4-6 PM).
- Classes range from 8-10 students and are at our offices in Torrance, CA.
- Classes are 2 hours, and you'll be teaching 1-3 classes per week.
We are focused on teaching public speaking, research, and critical thinking skills to our students. We also enter competitive debate competitions four times a year, through our parent company and debate tournament invitationals.
We are looking for instructors with debate experience (i.e. National Forensics League in high school and competitive debate in college) and prefer those with teaching experience and bachelor's degrees or higher. Pay is $35+ / hour and will be determined by the person's education and experience.
