We currently have an opening for a Database Engineer in the Chatsworth area.
Job Description:
Duties may include:
Must know SQL.
1. Writing logical and physical database descriptions including location, space, access method and security.
2. Establishing and calculating optimum values for database parameters, using manuals and calculators.
3. Developing data models describing data elements and how they are used, following procedures using pen, template or computer software.
4.Coding database descriptions and specifying identifiers of database management systems or directing others in coding descriptions.
5. Testing, correcting errors, and modifying changes to programs or to databases.
6. Reviewing project requests describing database user needs and estimating time and cost required to accomplish the project.
