The Design People, Inc. is a 130+ person web design & development studio with main offices located in Marina Del Rey. Our company thrives on thrilling our customers by delivering unprecedented and unexpected levels of service. The company provides Internet marketing, database development, web design and search engine/email marketing services to hundreds of small and large businesses.

We market our products and services through our network of websites including http://www.thedesignpeople.com and http://www.agentimage.com. This position requires a motivated person that is detail oriented, driven, and is a hard worker with great communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide client services included in monthly maintenance fees and internet
marketing programs
• Make website corrections, fix broken links, make minor HTML changes which
are included in our hosting fees
• Contact existing clients
• Answer incoming customer calls and Manage customer expectations
• Level 1 Helpdesk Support
• Technical Support
• Providing telephone & email support
• Providing customer service satisfaction with effective follow up
• Following proper internal escalation procedures
• Provide backup email support
• Provide support for website hosting services
• Provide information about internet marketing products and website upgrades
• Overseeing the process of identifying, prioritizing and confirming
resolution of reported problems with systems, hardware/software and/or
network problems
• Act as a consultant and resource for the client
• Communicate with the client regarding the progress of their request for
changes/corrections
• Provide the client with feedback and comments regarding their website design
and internet marketing programs
• Inform the client about additional services that may enhance their design
and sell them
• Complete an average of 50-120 client requests
• Various projects and duties as assigned

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload
efficiently and meet strict deadlines for complete tasks/assignments
• Must be organized
• Must be able to understand how to exceed customer expectations during every
interaction by listening to customer needs, asking effective questions and
innovative problem solving
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Word required
• Ability to prioritize a high volume workload
• Must be customer service oriented and have strong attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Results oriented - continually strives to exceed goals; demands quality and
will not accept substandard performance from self and others
• Ideally, the successful candidate will have been working in a similar
industry in a Helpdesk/Support Manager environment and should possess
exceptional communication and time management skills coupled with an ability
to work to deadlines/under pressure and take ownership.
• A great opportunity for a hands on person who is not above rolling up their
sleeves and helping in creating a great department.
