Job description:
Work as a main contact for areas on budget, expense issues and what drives cost and communicating these to management.
Interact with management working through the budget process, variances and GAAP compliance.
Accrual review and distribution of monthly reports.
Conduct financial planning activities, target analysis, development of annual financial plans and forecasting.
Financial analysis on a project basis.
Work with cost allocations and reporting.
Supervises Cost Analysts/Sr. Cost Analysts
Developing and implementing process improvements.
Responsible for functional area expense reporting and analysis. Responsible for complex cost analyses associated with the cost accounting function. Be the key contact for management on cost issues.
Who we are looking for:
Degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years experience.
Strong attention to detail, organized and very analytical.
Communication and strong technical and computer skills are required.
Hyperion and PeopleSoft is a plus.
