I am a writer/musician currently drafting an indie graphic novel. I am looking for an artist to collaborate with me on this 50/50. This is a SPEC deal for both of us - We will be working together as EQUAL partners on this towards various avenues of publishing.
Some of my favorite titles: 100 Bullets, Transmetropolitan, Y: The Last Man, Anything by Paul Pope, Frank Miller, and Alan Moore + Bendis & Brubaker (Criminal/Daredevil/Cap). Think along the lines of the art within the various works of these creators.
At this point I am open to various styles of art/approach. However, my leanings tend to fall in line with the Vertigo/Marvel/DC titles. Think crime meets superhero / Something new with direct ties to the classics.

Formatted comic-based storyboards preferred, but not necessary.
